I am very pleased to offer this new Limited Edition print. As of the time of writing this, 15 copies remain available for purchase. Once 15 copies (of any patron's choice of size) have been sold, it will no longer be available for purchase as a print again (ever).
This photograph was created from a single exposure over seventeen minutes long using a 10 stop ND filter on a Canon 17-40 lens, and was taken at sunset from the New York side of the Hudson River, facing New Jersey. It was the final exposure I took that day, and the most dramatic in terms of light and color. After seeing it, I am left with the sense that I could almost jump from piling to piling and get to NJ that way. Of course, that sense is a by product of lens distortion and if I tried it I'd be profusely spitting out mouthfuls of the Hudson River. I'm reasonably sure some choice words would be involved.
So while I can't recommend this illusory secret new path to get to NJ, I do hope you enjoy the photograph. If you would like to purchase a print, please click on the photograph above. Various options will appear, including a Buy button where you can select sizes, materials, etc.
Please note that a metallic showcase print, or metallic paper, would be optimal for this print. Canvas would provide interesting texture and would particularly suit the sky in this scene. Print sizes up to 24x36 inches are available.
